I can deal with Leather in title that works for me. Would like to see a list though for all of them. Now my second question is: If I get all Light for my Nation, will that give me Advanced Armor Training in those if they are Leather?

No

The only way to get Advanced Armor Training is to be a Martial Archetype or I think through the Squire background.

Kind regards,

Paul

This is taken from the Arcanis FAQ.

Question: What armors qualify as leather for the “Any
Leather” Armor Proficiency? What about for “Any Cuirass”
and “Any Lorica”?
Answer:
• Any Leather: Armored Jacket, Leather Armor,
Studded Leather, Boiled Leather, Lorica Musculata,
Milandisian Leather Cuirass, Sicarite Studded Leather and
Sicarite Reinforced Leather

Thanks. I was pretty sure I grabbed it from a (mostly) official source but thought it was off the old boards as I missed it when I was quickly scanning the FAQ...

Just getting back to this, but why is it limited like that? SeSeems to me or should be like weapon mastery. As a experience templar I get it three armies the same. From my background and my archtype. If tIfs happened with WM I would get mastery of all three.

This talent is pretty much THE perk for being a Martial archetype over all the rest. My assumption is that PCI decided to more-or-less keep it that way, lest turn Martial into little more than a slightly more combat-oriented Expert.

Also, by making it a standard talent, they start turning this into one of those "You have to have!" talents like Weapon Focus was in D&D 3.5. If you keep it limited, it is a special treat/incentive to build a certain type of character.

I can understand that, but the only way to get it is through martial or squire. I think it should be obtainable through knight errant as well. As squire is a prerequisite for any knight other then knight errant. Why should the KE not get it? They get much the same training just not as rigidly trained. They would most likely know how to use the national armor most proficiently as well.

A Knight Errant can be (flavourwise) pretty much anybody, and therefore there is no standard training to be one. Unlike other knights, the Errants are usually knighted on the battlefield and are often commoners.

For a commoner to become a Knight Errant took great deeds in battle, which he would already be trained in the use of armor.

Historically A knight-errant (or knight errant) is a figure of medieval chivalric romance literature. The adjective errant (meaning "wandering, roving") indicates how the knight-errant would wander the land in search of adventures to prove his chivalric virtues, either in knightly duels (pas d'armes) or in some other pursuit of courtly love.

Also with the commoner logic they could never wear Heavy Armor unless the took the specific talent to do so. As more or less Martial is the only way to get that straight off.

He would already be trained in the use of armor (Armor Proficiency) but that doesn't mean he would have advanced training in armor use (Advanced Armor Training).

Even knight errants had to endure training once they were knighted. But since there is no way to convince you then never mind. Just gotta think no of another way to do it.
