So, in Arcane/Divine Spell Casting most of the tiers say "Choose one primary and two secondary Traditions" (I - IV for Arcane, I - III for Divine). Since this is listed in each tier, the way I read it is that I am allowed to choose different traditions each tier. Am I correct in this interpretation?

P.S.
Obviously this is excluding mandated traditions, like with the Sorcerer-Priest of Sarish taking Blood every time.

Yes.

Not in front of my books at the moment, but if memory serves you don't have to take Blood as your primary tradition as a SP. Just have to take it as A tradition.

Some paths like Elementalist also make demands on your choice in traditions.

Taking this one step further. You can then take the Learn Spell Talent to learn a spell from a lower Tier that you might have wanted before.

Example:
Eldritch
Tier 1 takes Elemental Battle and Illusion
Tier 2 takes Creation Battle Illusion

So you can now take Learn Spell to learn any Tier 1 Creation spells you may have wanted.

My question: Can you use Learn Spell to learn a spell from a tradition that you didn't pick in Tier 2 but did in Tier 1?

My understanding is that once you have at least 1 spell from the tradition you can use learn spell to take more. It's not tier specific.

Learn Spell [Arcanum, Devout]
Requirement: The ability to cast spells
Benefit: Choose a spell, which must be of a Tier equal to
yours or below, from a Tradition you already know.
Special: You may take this Talent multiple times; each time
you learn an additional spell.

It doesn't say "A tradition that you know at that tier", so I would say yes you can take a spell from a lower tier of a tradition you learned later.

I agree when it comes to a lower Tier. But what about using it for your current Tier. In my example the character didn't take the Elemental tradition in Tier 2, but they took the Elemental Tradition in Tier 1.
Could they use Learn Spell to Learn a Tier 2 Elemental spell?

Yes, though I have been playing around with adding a restriction that you need to know at least one spell of a lower tier of that tradition...

but as the rules stand now, yes you can...

hell if you learned battle as a tradition, you can use learn spell to learn spells all the way up to tier IV as long as you can cast spells of that tier.
