So I decided I needed a GM Screen for my game tomorrow night. I couldn't find one of the blank ones to insert pages into around my local area, so using the GM Screen by Harliquinn I made the following. Using cardboard and tape.

Well done! It looks very cool and making it yourself saved lots of money I imagine!

That is very cool. I just picked up the Savage Worlds Custom GM Screen. It is land scape and all the panels have insertable pockets on both sides. Perfect for those GM screen inserts John created and artwork or Player cheatsheets on the other side.

That's what I have and why I made them landscape (And I like landscape better for those).

Yeah I am going to have to order the Savage World one, but money being money, it is going to have to wait. Yes it did save me money as it was all stuff just lying about.

So I went to our game on Saturday and look what one of my players had made for me.

Here is my latest idea. I am going to build a clock, and use glass stones for counters. Each player will get a different color stone. They will get three total: 1 for speed, 1 for strain, 1 for recovery. There will be numbered ones for NPCs all a different color from the players. I may make a set for big named NPCs, but not sure. Have to figure my colors out first. Here is a picture of the idea.

To help avoid making mistakes on a potentially very full clock I have taken to using the same mini on the master clock as I use on the battlemat, that way there is no confusion when trying to keep the action fast and interesting. I will put a d12 (or 2) next to the mini to track strain and recovery.

The biggest problem here is having enough of the appropriate minis, especially when dealing with groups of minions, so I had to go buy a whole pile of new minis in groups of at least 7 (1 for clock, 6 for mat), but we're pretty set now.
