Hello - I'm planning on doing a Live Chat on Facebook Live tomorrow, Friday the 20th, at around 9pm EST, so that anyone who would like to participate can.

We can do an informal Q&A or discuss whatever people would like to talk about.

Just trying to do my part to keep people engaged and mildly entertained during the ongoing situation.

So what do you think?

Any topics in particular you'd like to discuss?

Let me know and I hope to see you tomorrow.

I'll be doing this on the Arcanis FB Group.

Here's the link:

The topic I would be most interested in is how to get more modules into the pipeline and into the organized campaigns. In a (my) perfect/healthy vision of the Organized Campaign world we would have 24 slots of adventures per year.

What is taught/believed about the green moon with the PoM. Is there any PoM goddess particularly associated with it?

If you look at the Legio Lex Talonis PDF, it states that the Church (or at the very least, the First Imperium Church) believed that Viridis/Green Moon was home to the Paradise of The Gods.

So for those of us who couldn't make it, what are the highlights?

Well, I can write up a more detailed rundown at a later time, but:

1. More splatbooks, on par with Order of the Phoenix and Legio Lex Talonis, are planned.

2. Codex of The Mind's manuscript has been completed, it is now in the playtesting and revision phase. val'Cessari are going to get a write-up, but will only be playable by the Invisible Kings.

3. We learned that the Yhing Hir Tribes in the Hinterlands were once vassal families to the val'Haupt.

4. We learned that the val'Holryn are not an original family, and the reason that they can only mimic the "Big 13" families is purely mechanical. This gets somewhat more complicated when you throw in the Minor Families and the Ul, but it will be revealed in time. Also, I asked, no, val'Holryn can't mimic the val'Cessari.

There's a whole lot more to it, but this is what stuck out to me.

Just a note on point 4... I perk up on anything related to the val'Holryn family. This is what i took away:

As I understand it, Henry explicitly said that the val'Holryn do not ever mimic the Uls powers which I found interesting. They (the Uls) seem to also be "original" families that date back to the founding of the Imperium (as opposed to the val'Vasik or val'Sungha for example which came later). Which are the powers the val'Holryn mimic. I'm sure there are more stories there ...

Henry stated that as a mechanical reason, you can't play a val'Holryn with other family powers outside the the listed families ... those stats and abilities don't exist in a final form yet. But as I understand it, at least in theory a (NPC) val Holryn could possibly be born with val'Haupt powers (as an example).

Henry did state that you can't be a val'Holryn using val'Cessari powers. It wasn't clear to me if that prohibition fell into the ban like the Uls (never happens for story reasons) or the mechanical ban (that content isn't developed/open to PCs).

One other thing...

Henry suggested, as a possibility, that the next kickstarter might be a big adventure path book along the lines of House of Strahd or Tomb of Annihilation. If people were interested. The two possible story elements that seemed to gain traction with the people on the chat were either something Ymandragore/Harvester based, or something based on ssethrics groups fighting the Varn.

In terms of a Mega adventure the last time Henry posted for feedback I believe the Keys of Man was the winner. That's still my top choice for something to explore.

Thanks for the various details. Things to ponder.

With a sweep of his hat,

Paul
