Hi all,

Am I reading the spell entry correctly as it states it is from the deity tradition and it has an entry for Sarishians...

How would they gain access to this spell?

It's late over here in the UK... So I maybe a little fuzzy...

At this point, the only way to gain access to it would be to be a member of the Orthodoxy who starts as a non-Sarishan and grandfather's their way into Sarishan Worship through Keeper of Forgotten Lore. At some point in the future more options may be made available in future products.

Cool, but the spell is in the main book, shouldn't there be a way to acquire this without using the CoH?

Is it accidently missing from the blood tradition? Or is the Sarish entry an accidental oversight when the spell was created?

I'm fine with gaining access in game, just thought an errata or faq might be required as I couldn't see how a SPoS either D or A can gain access to the deity tradition... I've not got the CoH with me presently but I'm thinking that would not work either... Iirc you either gain access to you secondary deities 'deity' tradition if Sarish is your primary or the blood tradition if Sarish is your secondary, because Sarish doesn't have any entries in the deity tradition list...

I'm a little more articulate now...

Hi Dan,

This was probably either an oversight during the initial printing, or PCI already had plans to release a route to access the spell in the CoH. I'm no one official, but don't hold your breath waiting for errata to open up access to the spell.

The Codex of Heroes really is a great supplement with lots of 'crunch'. If money is an issue, you can get the pdf fairly cheaply. I'd suggest getting it.

Hi,

I'm up to date with the Arcanis products, just wanted to know if I missed something. I'm loving the new blessed lands book... Henry did a great job... Errata and FAQ wise, we as a group are each learning parts of the rule set, checking the additional material and then decimating this knowledge... It's a great way for us to discuss the game overall...

I thought it was strange that this discrepancy had not been previously mentioned on the boards...
