Not sure if this is the right place to post or if this has been addressed elsewhere. If so please point me in the right direction, thanks.

Me and a friend both purchased the Sc'math mount from the Kickstarter campaign. Here's the question, both our characters are Huge, can the beast carry us?

Even though you are Huge, you are still a medium sized creatures...and Scmath specifically have the Beast of Burden Quality so they can carry more. But, you still need to make sure your total weight/encumbrance (including gear) does not hinder their pace too much.

Thanks Matt, that's good enough for me. Other than weapons I don't see this guy carrying a lot of stuff so he should be good regarding encumbrance. I do have a question about a weapon though. Is it possible for a Black Talon Ss'ressen to get Weapon Training with the Bearded Axe? I always saw that a signature weapon for some types of Ss'ressen fighter types and would prefer to wield it along with my Footman's Flail as a Holy Champion of the Fire Dragon.

There are always ways to get weapon training with Bearded Axe. If you are an Expert, take it as your one "any" weapon. Otherwise, you can get it from Background or Path. Worst case, you have to spend a Talent on it (either at char creation or later).

Thanks. As I recall his archetype is Martial but I think I can change that to Expert and make the concept work.

As a Martial you get plenty of combat talents to take weapon training.

Hadn't thought of that. Usually end up taking something other than weapon training. Built the Ss'Ressesn as an expert last night, I'll see what a martial build looks like tonight.

As a side note, any chance the Scmath can be taken as a Loyal Companion? Or is this a possible future option?
