Post subject:  Previous emperors

Hey folks --

Have any of the Coryani emperors immediately prior to Calcestus ever been officially named or talked about in "canon"? I recall reading that Cal came to the throne at a decent age (late 30's, in his 40's when the original Living Arcanis campaign started?), but I don't know anything about his predecessor (father, presumably, or uncle...) or about the circumstances there.

Thanks!

James

Calcestus's and Scipio's father was named Aurelius val'Assante. He was the Emperor before Calcestus. He is named in the 3.5 module The Hero of Glau Merrow (Year 5 #3) written by Henry Lopez.

Emperor Almeric val'Assante (Codex Arcanis page 20) second Emperor of the Coyani Empire
Emperor Eladru val'Assante, The Divine Architect (Codex Arcanis page 22) 4th Emperor
Emperor Marellius val'Assante (Codex Arcanis page 25)
Emperor Quron val'Dellenov (Codex Arcanis page 25) last of the val'Dellenovs
Emperor Gorvaticus val'Assante (Codex Arcanis page 25)
Empress Shar val'Assante (Codex Arcanis page 28)
Emperor Nurion val'Assante (Codex Arcanis page 29) founder of the Sanctorum of the Arcane
Empress Duana val'Assante (Codex Arcanis page 29)
Emperor Hecton val'Assante (Codex Arcanis page 35) last of the val'Assante line before val'Dellanovs took over
Emperor Quintelus val'Dellenov (Codex Arcanis page 38) first of the val'Dellenovs
