I just found it curious as it is called a world gate in the module

But that may have been before a "world gate" was defined

Or Henry could be keeping secrets.... No that would never happen

As one of the new players on the block, I've been trying to comb end to end of my campaign book for answers.

Answers as to why a race like the Ssanu would want to create a race like the Ellori without some sort of control mechanize in place to keep them under control. We know they had in the early days of their war with the Il'Huan that the Ssanu could call creatures from beyond the mortal realm and create new races that cater to their every whim. Yet when it came time to forge the agreement with the elemental lords, it was said that most of these technomancy creations were deemed unviable or failures.

And then there's the story as to how Belisarda was captured and turned from a mad earth goddess into the life goddess that breathed life into the Ellori. It sounds very fishy and quite vague. Yet this reveal of the 'World Gate' might paint alternative spin on the creation of the Ellori; one that suggests they were never created but rather brought over with their collective memories rearranged.

The Ssanu are great at making new variations off of a theme. LOTS of different Ss'ressen. But they needed something new to fight the psionic empire of the il'huan. Creatures that were resistant to mind meddling. Elementals are good. But summoning extra-planar creatures is/was expensive in terms of time and expended resources. They needed something that would work at scale. Took some doing to get to the eloran solution. Originally they didn't think they would need much control mechanisms...especially since they never dreamed the elorii (slaves) could match them in understanding elder magic. See the Blessed Lands book for a more detailed treatment of this ...

Doubtful. Belisarda is, and almost certainly has always been, the Life Force of planet Arcanis. In that sense she is like a primal spirit scaled up to full, capital "G," God size. She has never been an "Earth" Goddess or an extra-planar entity...for example in the ARP ruleset, her spell Control Gravity only works on Arcanis.
