So I've been comparing the 5E mods to the ARG mods, and I've noticed two inconsistencies with this one I'd like a ruling on.

First, Alexius is mentioned early in the mod, but then just kind of never shows up at the end. Even the box text is changed so that there's only the other two, with no mention of the third. I presume he's there, as he is in the ARG mod?

Second, the Uvanori is mentioned in box text, but there's no stats for it. Is this intentional? Should I wing it and just have any arcane casters within 20 feet make a Wisdom save to avoid being paralyzed for a turn?

Thanks

Jeff

I am not sure from a mechanic's point of view as I have not seen the 5th ed conversion.

Alexis was a victim and the only real investigation of him was in the stonemarket scene where they can visit his shop and find that he has been missing and was a friend of the scholar

The Uvanori main purpose was the capture and subdue the Arcane gifted. If you don't hear anything from the campaign staff, I would go with your idea of the wisdom check.

Thanks for the feedback on the mod! There will be a new version posted shortly to address these two issues.

Alexius is one of the people you rescue in the final scene. That's clarified in the new version.

The uvanori stats got dropped in the conversion somehow. It's back in the new version.

Cody or I will post when the new version of this mod is posted.

Would a member of the hawk faction recognize the thralls or the Hunter as being from Ymandragore? I know it's not in the mod, but one of my players this weekend is a member and I don't want to be asked this question after the fact and not have an answer of why she did not recognize them, or at least have a chance at making a roll to recognize them for what they are.

Having that player make a roll to realize that's what they are facing is fair. As an introduction adventure, it's assumed that these are low level characters, so they might never have SEEN an Ymandrake thrall, though they would surely have heard of them.

If they have the Sanctorum Background, I'd make it an automatic success.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
