What did you think about the suggestions I made? I especially like the Ss'ressen idea...<snip>

I think it's workable. Perhaps something like:

This Champion's chain features a head spine and claws of the Agamassi beaten to win the gladatorial games. Forged of gold and the steel from the creature's bearded axe, it is both a beautiful and impressive design. Worn as a badge of honor by The Mountain, it is an elegant reminder of the prowess of this former gladiator.

If I go with that, let's hope I don't run into them any time soon. It won't go well for me. I've at least seen the Bestiary write up for an Agamassi and as a T2 Large Martial Brute, I'm not there yet.

That wouldn't get us worked up. We understand that anything that is not Fang & Scale is trying to kill Fang and Scale. So, your boy fought in gladitorial bouts...how cute. Let me know how he does in the Blood Pits, then we can talk. But, if he chooses to get uppidity, so be it. I have waiting to try out a meat flank braised in a garlic and wine reduction. Alternatively, we have found that widow's tears also make a fine substance to brine meat in.

lol. Cute, Matt. Unlike many gladiators, The Mountain doesn't have an inflated ego or an over appreciation of his own abilities. He's still alive and in one piece. That's good enough for him. :)

My suggestion: Two crushed helmets (from his bare hands?) he keeps tied to his waist/belt like cowbells...he keeps them because he likes the sound they make as they gently bang against each other as he walks around on his business. Maybe he used to live near a pasture and associates the sound with good times.

If he fought in a non lethal bout against a well known opponent, perhaps a demo match against a great hero but not a gladiator, then perhaps his opponent could have been so impresses that he cut off his braid and presented it to you as a badge of honor to represent your prowess?

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I appreciate them.

Interesting idea, but not quite what I'm looking for. Almost strikes me as more comical than concerning.

That has potential, though the challenge with something like that is for whatever it is to be recognizable enough for the bonus.

The rudis still has potential as does the Agamassi necklace. A token from a famous hero or gladiator might work, if I can figure out what would be appropriate.

A cape made from the skin of a Sigarthian Troll or something else could be entertaining as well, though some sort of cloak / cape seems to be a common theme already.

Again, thanks for the help.

Paul
