Agreed. That's always been one of the most curious secrets to me.

Hello Josh,

Sorry, but that's beyond the scope of this book. That topic would have to be addressed in a val'INares sourcebook.

Things I'd be interested in, as a devoted Priestess of the great Fire Dragon...

1) We learned in the last campaign that the Fire Dragon is Kassegore. When exactly do the Fire Dragon Priestesses learn that? Based on the fact that we're still worshipping the Fire Dragon, I'm assuming that is still a closely held secret by the Priestesses.
2) Is the Ss'ressen Inquisition still happening, for those Ss'ressen who HAVE learned the truth about Kassegore?
3) All the things Matt already mentioned. =)
4) I definitely would love to know more about what happened with Abessios as well.

If I can think of anything else I'll post it! Can't wait to see it! I know James definitely can't wait for the Disciple of Jeggal Sag path; he's been waiting since the campaign started. =)

Some people already mentioned learning more of the geography of the sulphur marshes, that's at the top of my list.

Perhaps more about black talon culture. Daily life sort of thing. It's easy to imagine what daily life is like for the humans, and there's enough bits of info on Elorii to know what their daily life is like, but the black talon daily life doesn't seem to have much, if any, information on it. I find it helpful to know that when making a character.

I'd like to know, if the Miliarius (sic) from the Ssethregore books is the royal guard of that nation, has the Black Talons provided any for King Osric?

The King's special guard in Milandir is called the Dolphin Guard. Usually there are seven of them (barring death, retirement etc). We saw them briefly in the module Judgement. So there is no organized group of milarius who defend the King. TMK. But there is also no reason why a Black Talon who was a milarius couldn't aspire to reach that high. The king also has a champion which was under Osric and presumably remains under Gerhart the Warlord of the Black Talons.

I would note that it is my understanding that the Black Talons are "pledged" to the Duchy of Tralia and the val'Holryn rather than directly to the crown of Milandir (somewhere in the LA talk list is a post explaining that the High Mother holds the rank of Marchioness just under the val Holryn Duke). In most practical terms that probably doesn't mean much, but if there is a "ceremonial" or special task force of milarius it might instead be assigned to the Duke.
