With the dearth of modules for the campaign recently, I remembered the 6 Lair adventures from the FiM kickstarter.... How are those coming along, and will those be play legal withing the campaign? What kind of levelling will playing them all when they come out have on characters?

5/6 are done and I think the 6th is at about 50%. They are NOT available for campaign play (this should not be a surprise because it was stated on the kickstartet, iirc.) As to rewards. For playing them all, we have not determined if there will be any or what they will be if we do put rewards in.

Where does it say in the kickstarter that they won't be available/compatible for campaign play? I just perused the site and couldn't find that. It doesn't say that they will either, but I couldn't find anything saying it wouldn't. But I know I had assumed it would written to by stand alone playable as well as campaign playable if 5e play was available by the time these came out. Below is what I did find:

We've also added a new Stretch Goal. At $15,000 we can offer the first in the Lairs series of short adventures. These adventures will be ideal for an evening's fun. They will include a full color map, in some cases a new Monster entry as well as feature an item from Forged in Magic: REFORGED.

The inaugural Lair adventure will be written by Robert J. Schwalb (Shadow of the Demon Lord, A Song of Fire and Ice, and a multitude of other great books) and I have no doubt, it will be both horrific, amazing and lots of fun!

With your help and support, FORGED IN MAGIC: REFORGED will be published as a 200+ page, full color hard back! Additionally, we unlocked six (6) Lair adventures, which all backers at the $15 level and up will receive in PDF.

It was answered by Henry in the comments section on Mar 28th. He stated that the mods would have special cert, but the mods themselves are not campaign legal.

I'm sorry, but I'm still confused. The kickstarter started on April 19, 2016. So obviously there were no comments on March 28 of 2016. There is only one comment from March (I assume 2017?) and its not from Henry, so I'm not seeing this in the comments section. Are you sure we're talking about the same things?

[Edit] - I found what you are referring to now, and it was actually a question of mine which I had totally forgotten about! But that was on the 5E RPG kickstart about the disciples of heresy modules, not the FiM kickstarter Lair Modules. This thread was about the FiM, because I had totally forgotten we were due some heretical modules too...

Matt, did that information above change your response at all? That this is about the lair adventures, not the two heresy adventures? Also, how go the heresy adventures as well?

Hello Ken,

As Matt said, the printed adventures are not planned to be part of either Living Campaign. We will be adopting something similar to what Pathfinder did for their Adventure Paths, so that there is some type of reward that can be given to your Living Campaign characters when you've completed the print adventure.

This applies to both the two adventures in the Disciples of Heresy and the six in Codex of Adventure.
