Hello everyone,

One of the books the team is woking on at the moment is Ssethregore: In the Coils of the Serpent Empire. This is a meaty book with tons of material on all our scaly friends, as well as new material on the Black Talons and Ghost Scales.

We had Pat Loboyko do a new cover for us and I wanted to share it with all of you.

What do you think?

Isn't that scene impossible, though? Due to the Ss'anu control of the Ss'ressen?

Ssanu have the ability to prevent Ss'ressen from entering Frenzy when they encounter other Clutches, but they do not have absolute control over all Ss'ressen. Were I to hazard a guess, that is a Black Talon Ss'ressen attacking the Ss'anu.

Hello,

Akira is correct.

The scene is a Black Talon ambushing a ssanu and its Flaming Tongue Ss'ressen bodyguard.

The ssanu bioengineered the ss;ressen with a pheromone that illicits a savage response when they are in close proximity (the Ss'ressen Frenzy we all know and love). This was done so that no two egg clutches could work together and collude against their serpent men masters.

The ssanu can exude a pheromone that counteracts that scent, allowing the various egg clutches to work in concert under their direction.

They don't "Control" the ss'ressen, merely keep them in check.

Looking good Henry.

Local group here has 5 out of 7 people with Ssressen backup PCs

(Including a filthy heretical templar of Neroth)

Can't wait to see inside it.

With the new male Ss'ressen ruling becoming effective July 1 (which means I have to rebuild Ss'kethis), I'd really like to only rebuild once so would love the Ssethregore book to be available around the same time. Can you give us an estimate of when Ssethregore will be released? I'm not looking for an exact date - just an approximate month or even quarter.

Hello Steve,

Before the end of the year is the most I'll commit to at the moment. As it gets closer to finalization, I'll be able to give a better ETA.

Now that the 5E Forged in Magic book is done how are we looking on a release date for the Ssethregore book? And since I know there is interest in that as well how do things stand on the Kio book? Is it possible that we would see both at Origins?

To be honest I do recall the exact order these come out in. Wasn't there a bestiary coming between the two books listed above?

Anyhow I'm wanting to throw money at PCI come June so here's hoping for cool new stuff! :)

And many thanks to all the hard work going into these especially Henry. Some days sir I wonder how you get it done.

Per the last Kickstarter Update the Bestiary volume 2 is the next book to be released.
