Hello everyone, I just sent an updated PDF of Sorcerous Pacts to backers. I received a lot of feedback on the original book, which prompted me to go back and review the costs of the Pacts. The Rules Staff revised the costs of using the Pacts so that it would be more useful in actual play. In addition, new player material was added, such as new Talents, Paths, etc., including the Tal Kanath Path, for which I have received numerous requests to make available to the player base. I hope you enjoy the new Sorcerous Pacts. I am working on getting print copies to Origins. It’s going to be tight, but there’s a good chance this will happen. If you’d like a print copy, please send me an email (PCIHenry@gmail.com) as quantities will be very limited. Also only gave it a quick read but came up with two quick questions "To Burn the Soul" on page 38, the person can sacrifice a wound using the talent (so once per scene) to automatically succeed at a single action skill role. This is possible only for a Master Medicant of the Medicant of the Aspect path, which as far as I can tell could be qualified for at tier II. Does this mean that one can use this to auto-effect someone with a spell once per scene? That is an Arcanum skill role against their defense, isn't it? Might make the final fight scenes a little boring at Tier IV when all they have to do is "Thrall" the big bad and auto-succeed, every scene (since there is nothing saying they can't be healed the would they sacrificed). Also, is the Selash available as an animal companion to Elorii, or does it require special campaign documentation? Would it be possible to take an exceptional version as an heirloom, like you can a horse? |

Am I blind or what? Where is the Tal Kanath path? I see the fighting style and references to it, but I'm not seeing the path itself. |

I'm just a dummy. When read that he had the Tal Kanath path I thought literal path no the fighting style. But it does make it actually playable now that they can have the style in function as well as name. |

I'm loving the new material that has come out with this update. I redesigned some of Elorii pre-gens I made to incorporate new material, and I built a new pre-gen Marokene Arcane Caster that is using the Pacts offered in the book. I'm super happy with this update. |
