Forged in Magic: REFORGED adds over 400+ magic items to your 5E campaign – from magical weapons and armors, rings, and shields to mystical potions, magical staffs and a myriad of wondrous items. Forged in Magic: REFORGED doesn’t just provide a list of items and their properties, but many also have a backstory on its creation or history. While these stories are set in the Arcanis: World of Shattered Empires campaign setting, the rich detail can help you place these in any published setting or your own home made campaign.

Hello Akira,

It will be Pat Loboyko. Pat's work has created the look of Arcanis for many and I want to keep that same consistency in Forged in Magic: REFORGED.

Is there any kind of estimate on how many new backers there are? As in folks that didn't back Cradle of Empires?

You could probably go through the list in the Community tab, but outside of Henry (or anyone else on PCI who has administrator authority) I don't think you can accurately judge.

Well the BL book had 271 backers when the dust settled. That was more than the 210 backers for the Witch Hunter Book and 191 people who Kickstarter Rotted Capes. Each PCI book that successfully kickstarts pulls in more than the last (though a PCI Call of Cthulhu book was pulled when Henry decided it wasn't going to reach its goal).

As of today (5/1) there are 370 people signed up for Reforged in Magic. So we have at least 100 new backers. How much of this is due to the campaign spreading...or Kickstarter spreading...or interest in 5E D&D is open to guessing. I suspect it's a little bit of all the above. Also potentially open to guesswork at our end is how many BL backers stayed home because this is a 5e book (that doesn't help the A:RPG with new crunch). I'm guessing the answer is not many. I have no real plans to play the 5e version of the campaign but I would be getting the PDF to support PCI even without buying a slot on the special table.

I was curious also so I went through the list of backers and recognized 23 Legends of Arcanis players pledging everything from a PDF to a seat at the special table. Of course, a lot of people don't use their names as their KS username, so there may be more, but I'm grateful for anyone who pledged just to support us at any level!

On the plus side, that could mean we have 350 POTENTIAL 5E Arcanis players in the wings. Granted, I'm sure that the majority, if not most, just want a magic item book for their 5E campaign, but you never know. Here's hoping!

Book of Lairs. 5E or ARG format? I assume these will be campaign legal adventures?
