Are we allowed to post on forums to get feedback prior to submission? What is the best way to get a second (or third, or fourth) set of eyes on something that you'd like to submit for consideration in a book or supplement? John |

[I am nobody official] I suggest not posting things on the forums, as I know that it will automatically mean that a publisher will not want to touch it with a ten foot poll. After all, if it is placed publicly and they use it (especially if they change it) it leaves them open to legal action, be it valid or not. Your best bet would be to ask specific individuals to edit it for you, or just send it in and hope for PCI to do the edits for you. |

As a follow up, if you do submit something what happens then? If PCI likes it, is the first one might know that when it gets published in a publication? Or is there communication with a submitter when PCI likes an idea? I'm fine with either, btw, but would like to know. |

Hello John, To submit to PCI, follow the steps below: 1. send a summary of what your idea is. we may already be working on something similar and want to avoid any confusion or issues. 2. The response back will outline what exactly needs to be done next. 3. You'll receive a further response on whether accepted, rejected or "needs changes" Email all inquiries to: PCIHenry@gmail.com In the subject line write: PCI Submission and the date. Thank you. |

So is the old system that was advertised on March 13 of 2014 no longer the way? PCI_StatMonkey wrote: Greetings everyone, we have been approached about players submissions, and though we may have limited room in the upcoming campaign guide. We are always looking for fresh ideas from our player base. Step 1) If you want to send us a submission please attach it as a word (or compatible .txt for example) document with your name and address in the documents header Step 2) Then attach that to an email, with this in its body with your name (full name) and address at the bottom Quote: PCI Product Submission Terms and Conditions In submitting any materials to Paradigm Concepts, Inc. (“PCI”) by sending them to PCI through its submissions e-mail address at PCI.submissions@gmail.com, the submitter (hereinafter “Author”) agrees to the following terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, submission of any and all materials (“Work”) is considered acknowledgment of this agreement. 1. Author Warranties Author warrants that he has clear title to the Work. Author also warrants that the Work has not been published previously and that the Work is not being considered for publication by any other publisher. Author warrants further that the Work is original and does not infringe upon any copyrighted material other than that published by Paradigm Concepts, Inc. 2. Independent Development Author acknowledges that the Work may be similar to the theme, plot, idea, format, or other element of material that PCI has independently developed or that has or may come to PCI from other sources. Author shall not be entitled to any compensation by reason of the use by PCI of such similar material, whether developed or acquired by PCI before or after Author’s submission of the Work. 5. Miscellaneous This Agreement shall be deemed to be entered into and governed by the laws of the State of Florida applicable to contract made and performed entirely therein and constitutes the entire Agreement between the parties regarding the Work. This Agreement shall take effect upon the date of submission. No waiver by one party to this Agreement of any breach by the other party of any term or condition of this Agreement shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other breach of the same or any other term or condition of this or any other agreement. If any term or condition of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or void, that term or condition shall be deemed to be stricken without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Except as otherwise provided in the Agreement, any subsequent modification or termination of this Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of and be enforceable by the successors and assigns of the respective parties. Step 3) Send the email with attached submission to PCI.submissions@gmail.com ANY EMAIL which does not follow these steps will be deleted… outright. And if we sent something to PCI.submissions@gmail.com, should we try and find it and instead send it to PCIHenry@gmail.com now? |

Hello, Correct. what I outlined is the proper procedure. If you sent something to that email, assume that it was not read and follow the procedure as I outlined. DO NOT SEND COMPLETED MATERIAL. Thank you. |

Thanks Henry! That helps answer the full process. I was mainly asking around 'getting reviews on the material'. It sounds like it's best to do that after submitting the 'idea' to PCI to see if it's already being worked on. I just wanted to make sure if I submit something that I get a 'gut check' from some smart people before sending it in to PCI. John |

Hello John, Harliquinn wrote: I just wanted to make sure if I submit something that I get a 'gut check' from some smart people before sending it in to PCI. As has been mentioned before DO NOT POST said ideas to the forums. If you want people to gut-check your work prior to sending it in, please arrange to do so OFF LIST. Thank you, |
