On page 280 of Arcanis 5e is the spell Scales of the Dragon. The ONLY spell list I can find this on is for HC Fire Dragon. That is fine. Arcanis is full of secret spells. But I am confused by the Secret Spell description of "Natural Armor racial trait, or something similar". To my mind this would be a secret spell for Ssressen's, or Fire Dragon Worshipers ect… But I am confused by the 'or something similar' tag. So I ask the following question. Can a HC Yarris of level 7 or higher learn this spell and burn a spell slot on it to make their "Armor of the Crab" class feature (which grants natural armor) last 24 hours? Thanks! |

I would assume that was put in there for if they ever decide to throw it on a listing in the future, to make sure that whoever uses it also needs to have NA to use it. |

Hello Eric, Just an FYI - I'm the only one who keeps an eye on these forums for the most part. If you want an official ruling from Pete or Cody, I would suggest posting them on the Arcanis Organized Play Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1118837464832751/ As you know, I'm not the "Rules Guy". |
