RAW, using the 9th Telekinesis Discipline Ability, it is legal to combine it with the Grappler Feat. Obviously this wasn't originally intended, to my knowledge, but would this work in Living Arcanis?

As Henry stated on the Arcanis Feats Thread, grappler is not LA legal. Only the feats in Arcanis products.

Grappler is an exception as it's the only feat in the SRD and was reprinted in the Arcanis Core Book...

and I would say no.. the flavor if the text indicates it's clearly physical grappling, not mental

Hi Pedro. Can you confirm that for me. That grappler is legal. Two weeks ago Henry said the opposite thing in a thread called Living Arcanis Feats. In it he said:

PCIHenry wrote:
Hello, ...snip..., none of the Feats from the Player's Guide or any other WotC product are legal in Living Arcanis 5E.

The only feats allowed in the campaign are those in the Arcanis 5E Campaign Setting and other Arcanis 5E books as noted in the Living Arcanis 5E Campaign Guide.

When you two contradict each other in a short period of time my head risks spinning. I am not deeply attached either way but hope to have a definitive answer to share with prospective players.

Thanks!

what was originally asked was are the feats in the PHB legal for play... nope

But all the feats in the Arcanis Campaign Setting Book are

Quote from Henry

Quote:

Now get your campaign guide, open it to page 237, top corner...

Grappler is a special corner case because it IS the only feat in the entire SRD, we re-published it in the Arcanis Campaign Guide, thus making it 100% legal for campaign play.

Enjoy
