Asking for someone else, are Ibon able to use Large-Sized weapons?

There are no large sized weapons in 5e as I understand it.

In the Arcanis 5e Handbook, Larged-Sized weapons can be obtained at double the cost, on p. 207.

I’ve seen that, but it’s a side bar for an optional rule. I am no one official, but it doesn’t look like the campaign is using that optional rule. At present. Similar questions have come up in other threads. James Vacca is the official 5e Campaign Poobah and he had this to say about certed weapons recovered from giants in one of the mods (people were curious if they used different damage values based on the giants size or stat blocks):

So the main thing to remember is that 5e doesn't use item sizes. There are no large, medium, or small weapons. It's a level of detail that 5e just doesn't go into. ...snip...

Based on that I would say that the optional rules aren’t being used. However James also went on to write in that post (in spoilers, the Chosen) that he might at some point, review the mater. But until/unless he does I don’t think you’ll find many judges who allow it.

My 2 cents

Currently, the optional rule is not allowed in the campaign (buying a large weapon)

But there have been several opportunities to acquire a large-sized weapon from large sized opponents.
