So I know that Unearthed Arcana is partly play testing, partly official. Regardless I know none of it is going to be straight up approved for play in the Arcanis game. My question though, is are y'all on the staff taking a gander at what they have posted there in the wizards forums?

Check the Gameplay resources section.

Some very nice things that could be tweaked and easily worked into the core game of any setting or campaign. Or be used to provide a base to create something else. I've actually modified the Grave and Protection Domains for my home game, and allowed them.

Sadly we can't use them...

Due to the not being part of the SRD or being produced with the OGL license

Now, we have a ton of stuff in the works

I have faith in y'all to make the 5e game good, but man that does suck. I mean, there is some really good stuff in there. Additional Druid circles a revamp of the Barbarian and the Ranger, new warlock pacts and more.

I guess I don't know how it works when it comes to legality and making a setting while also having to consider copy rights and what not.

Be glad the still use a version of the Open Gaming License. If companies want to follow the hard rules on copyright they'd be the only game in town (pun intended). Given the rampant piracy out there in internet land I don't blame them sometimes. Their profit margins are way less that what we get stuck with in the "real world."

Sign me up! lol. The only local Arcanis tables I attend are with Eric Hughes and Mike Hebert, so if they are down for playtesting, I'm down!
