hey there. does anyone have a definitive list of groups a PC can get fame with? I believe its (a) nations, (2s) religious groups and (c) secret societies. Is that correct? or can you get fame with smaller sub units like a specific val family or the soldier saints of dagha? |

You are correct Fame has traditionally been Nations, Churches, Secret Societies, and militaries. Here is a list I used to create a simple list to record fame from all the various certs as for players progress through the campaigns. I don't think you can get Fame from a a Val family, mainly because Val families control the other 4 options, so instead the fame passes to that sphere. For example if you rob a certain val'Tensen tomb you receive Infamy in Milander not just with the family.
