I certainly don't want to cast any aspersions on my fellow Arcanis GMs (who as a class are as good or better than those of any other organized play group I know of) ... but after reading the new Campaign Guide, it seems very weird to me that we are apparently running GM points on the honor system.

Shouldn't we be tracking them somehow?

Since I haven't volunteered for an event yet, I just track my DM points by the amount of Volunteer Certificates I own. I would like a better way for us to track them, though, considering that by running events, DMs can rack up a lot of DM Points with no real way to memorize their sources.

That's great if all your volunteer certs end up on one character ... less great when you are running the same mod for the fourth time. For my own sanity I will make a5e "GM Logsheet" for my own reference ... or to show any other judges who are curious about magic items my PCs might be using.

I've wondered the same thing myself. My local group knows how much I gm, so they do not ask, but I wonder about out of region play.

I've not taken volunteer certs for every mod I've run so I can't track it that way.

I get the concern, but there'd be too much overhead and administration to track. Honor system it is.

At the Staff meeting this week, a tracking sheet was created for just this purpose.

I hope to have a final version available next week and added to the campaign documentation.
