Ok. I'm bringing this up because in a separate thread Pedro pointed out that the changes proposed and implemented here are for both the living Campaign and those who play at home. The fate point errata reads:
Under Spending Fate remove the last bullet point (do the impossible) and add the following in its place. * A hero may spend a fate point to automatically succeed in action skill roll to resist the effects of a flaw.
Now, I fully agree this must be implemented within the living campaign for the reasons previously stated at least until better wording can be figured out, if ever.
With Pedro's point about these changes being made for home campaigns, is this ruling appropriate to the errata or to the Living Campaign documentation? With a home campaign it's far easier for the GM to decide how to interpret the "Do the Impossible" option, and can give opponents Fate and the opportunity to do the same.
I am fine with whatever is decided, I just want to make sure it's a conscious choice not just for the Living Campaign, but all players of the system.
Respectfully and with a sweep of his hat,
Paul
