Purely out of curiosity as a player of a Ghost Scale...but not one that wants to cast spells, mind you... Why has Henry forbid GS that are Heretics, those that have chosen to worship the Pantheon of Man or the Fire Dragon, not able to become divine casters? Just asking, NOT arguing for a rules change. |

As I understand it, Henry views changing faiths as an extremely rare occurrence that should have HUGE story-driven impetus and not to be taken casually. In your case, for example, the faith in Herka would be so ingrained that it would need to take an obvious, massive betrayal from Herka or almost direct intercession from the Fire Dragon to break from the faith. |

Knowing Sarishan. . . anything, there is probably some rather dire consequences for Ghost Scales who break faith with the Herka, too. |

There is a specific reason, though I would rather explore that through a scenario or perhaps in the expanded write up I'm going to do for the Ssethregore book. |

No worries Henry, was just curious - as a GS that has taken the Heretic flaw after many, many adventures of getting a bit toasty due to some crazy priestess (Val Kost) constantly channeling the Fire Dragon. |

Related question. Can a Ghost Scale PC take the Sword Saint path for Herka? Would allow such a PC be able to take devout talents? (Like smite heretic) I am guessing this shouldn't be allowed either. |
