Fortifying Link (Mind Link + Conviction) Tradition: Control [Tier I] and Heritage (Val) [Tier II] Category: Advanced CTN: 22 (20 +17-15) Speed (Strain): 7 (+3) - (6+3/2=7) (2+1=3) Range: 60’ (1 Target) Duration: Scene (D) Effect: You connect your mind to another, allowing a temporary mental link that allows telepathic communication, and fortifies the recipients discipline by +1 for the remainder of the scene. You may have a number of active Fortifying Links equal to your primary casting attribute’s Passive Value. If at any time your Target leaves the spell’s range, the spell immediately ends. Adaptation: Increase the CTN by 2 to increase the spell’s range by 30’. This Adaptation may be applied multiple times. Adaptation: Increase the CTN by 3 and Speed by 1 to increase the spell’s range by 60’. Adaptation: Increase the CTN by 6 to increase the number of Targets by 1, allowing for complete telepathic communication between all you and all Targets. Adaptation: Increase the CTN by 6 and Strain by 2 to increase the bonus provided by this spell to +2. Adaptation: Increase the CTN by 9 to increase the Duration to 24 hours. Once you can handle the adaptations, this is a way to get a more “permanent” buff, since the conviction could also be extended to 24 hours. I think a similar combination could be done with mind link and compel animal, and mind link and Bindings of Sarish (if you’re a Val’Mehan) |

... I havent looked at Psionic advanced spells but this is FANTASTIC! |
