Something that Ive noticed a few people doing that I really like: (props out to Amanda P)

you take your Elorii name and dont give it out to non Elorii, instead pick something out thats significant to your character and use that for the "lesser races" to use for you, amanda was going by the name "Stormy" and my Elorii was going by "The Night"

no I was on the "I hate elorii bandwagon" because the players (in the distant past) were jackwagons to me.

Now I just really like to give them a hard time, and you know corrupt their morals with Delberts charming actions (Right Brandy?)

It says something about the type of character you are playing if you hide your name from the lesser races. My character isn't the type to do that because of how he wants to be perceived.

Lesser races?!?

But I tend to agree, it does affect perception.

You should talk to your kin, because a bunch of them lied right through their (almost sharp yet still short) teeth at ArcaniCon last year. They seemed to have forgotten an important piece of information when trying to convince others to do something to save the day at an important moment....

The 'impression' that left with some of us is not a positive one :)

Did I forget my quotes on lesser races, lol.

But Oh? Do tell about this lying. I felt I was on the up and up when I spoke about the ritual.

I think you forgot the part about "Oh and if you do this you won't come back. Ever. Never."

And the part about telling the elorii that inquired to NOT do the mission because of the above.

Are you talking about losing their characters or losing their souls. I told them they were going to die, my impassioned speech did not fail to relay the message that you were rolling a new character. But I had no frakking idea those characters were going to have their souls trapped in that tree. None. Blame Tony (not really). Arcanis. Actions and consequences and all that jazz.

As per telling other elorii not to go, that was out of fear that their blood would make it more powerful. In one of the special mission tables, we saw the elemental spirit eating the essence of other elements. Had I thought of it, I would have just barred elorii from the sacrifices.

Also, had it been some Coryani characters telling other Coryani characters not to slit their own throats would you be upset? If something shady goes down (which nothing was), why is it acceptable unless you are elorii or Ss'ressen?
