So if they are all working as intended, we can bring this to a close :)

Thanks, Pedro

John that is not to say I'm not thinking of tweaking Sweeping,

I keep thinking that it needs a special rule to make it slower with faster weapons and faster with larger, slower weapons.

or I may just add a special note that it adds it's full speed and recovery when combined with another maneuver

I kind of like the inverse speed idea. Maybe change it to speed 7(2) instead of +1(2) so the speed is constant (giving an advantage to larger/slower weapons). The slower weapons seem to be chosen far less often than faster weapons in Arcanis so something to improve them doesn't seem amiss.

If you use the same Special: as Rapid Strike (ta), that should work well.

Examples:
Mighty Swing + Sweeping Strike = +2 (5) [from +1 (4)]
Shield Slam + Sweeping Strike = +1 (6) [from +0 (5)]
Lunge + Sweeping Strike = +2 (4) [from +1 (3)]

Oh? I'm intrigued. I don't suppose you care to elaborate?

Same.
I mean I get the impression there's a baseline "1-tick = X damage" formula, but slower weapons aren't real popular in my experience except for fluff or some path.
Mostly the question is "do I get Mighty Swing at Tier 1?"

Please for the love of Arcanis Gods we already have more complexity than I want. I do not believe there is anything with sweeping strike that merits (endless?) tinkering.

This edition of the game favors faster weapons in most situations. The last edition favored Tralian Hammers in most situations. Maybe the next edition will favor the broad sword. Or the club. <shrug> But I feel the game is past the point for tinkering in ways that may provoke redesigns because a key talent has had the cost/benefit ratio adjusted.
