Post subject:  Players/GMs in North Georgia?

Hi all,

My wife and I are new and haven't played any of the modules. We were hoping to find other players and/or GMs in or near our area. We live near Marietta, GA. Ideally we'd like to play through the old campaign arcs fairly rapidly and get caught up before the summer conventions. We don't mind a bit of travel, but we'd prefer to get multiple modules if we drive to, say, Tennessee or Alabama.

Hello and welcome to the campaign!

I'm not sure if we have a specific group in GA, but I believe there is one in TN. Those living in the area will pop up soon and post.

As an alternative, there is a fairly regular group that plays online. You can find their postings on the LA Campaign: Online Play section of this forum.

Please feel free to ask any questions about the world or the rules you may have and again, welcome!

As one of the (admittedly, rather lackadaisical lately) ringleaders of the online play community, I wholeheatedly invite you down to the Online Play board. If you have particular adventures you want to play from the first arc there are currently a few people running groups through the early mods. Please take a look to acurrier (Akira) as I think he has been posting most recently on the subject.

I just started Desperate Times (the second hardpoint) on myth-weavers.com, which is a play-by-post format. Unfortunately it looks like we already have a full table for that one.

As Cody mentioned, keep an eye on the Online play portion of the forums, I'm sure more games will be announced fairly soon. I think Cody, Paul and I tend to run the most games, but there are others who arrange them periodically.

If you have a group of people who are interested in a game on Roll20 (for example), you could always post and see if anyone is available to run the game for you. Never hurts to ask :)
