Hi Patrick, I wrote the original thread back in 2014, so before Codex of Heroes or The Blessed Lands. I haven't gone back to update. Here's the thread though with the Bowman part of the primary post. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=992 With a sweep of his hat, Paul |

Coming back to choosing an Archetype to build off... I'm rebuilding one of my 'experimental' PCs to 3.1 For a val, building a casting priest has proven better to take Arcane (a) / Initiate of the Gods (b) than to use Divine (not taking any Devout talents outside Paths). Just have to finalise between Cants 9 / Meditation 8 or Cants 7 / Meditation 10. A couple of adapted spell choices have CTNs one point too high for the balanced build (at least until Tier 3.2) Val'Ishi Anointed Priest / Keeper of the Forgotten Lore (Anshar/Beltine) / Ansharan Gatekeeper; ASC II, DSC II, 3 Adaptation talents, 3 Bloodlines powers. Aside from the strain issue (like all double-casters), should be interesting. |
