One area of difference I see is that I believe that one "Raise any 2 Attributes by 1 Point" is probably a mandatory advancement at least 1 / tier (or a total of 5 over 5 tiers). These boosts will raise your passive combat, arcanum, and defenses by at least 1 over 5 Tiers.
