I "have to" go out today (to play Shadowrun).
However, I definitely plan on working from home tomorrow and going nowhere (forecast here tomorrow is something like -5 high, -24 low, with -40-45 wind chill).

In Manitoba it has rarely been above -30C since October. We've had as high as about -17C, and as low as -53C this year. about -35C without the windchill today...and I'm going camping in a couple days. The nice thing about the cold is you can dress for it. The heat, not so much. As a bonus, there are no mosquitos in the winter

Might not be stupid cold here in London, but it is rainy and windy. UK keeps getting hit by big storm after big storm. Huge amounts of flooding, and people who have died. Although, IMO, some of the deaths deserve Darwin awards. Yes, please go swimming in the ocean at high tide, with a storm surge, in 80 mph winds... what could possibly happen. Hope everyone is staying safe in the cold. |
