Hello everyone,

As I struggle to get over this plague that was visited upon me during the Con, I wanted to thank everyone that attended the show and participated in the events. As I said at the end of the BI, going to Origins is like a family reunion for me, where I can visit with many of the people who've been playing Arcanis for so long, they've become good friends.

As always, a big THANK YOU to James Zwiers, Ken and Heather Waltz, who coordinated the Gathering and made things run so smoothly.

To all the judges who ran the adventures (both ARG and 5E) as well as this year’s Interactive extravaganza (or the James Special, as I call it) and Battle Interactive (To Do What We Must).

Speaking of these Interactives, given that James' Interactive kicks off a new story arc and the BI concludes the Coming of the Destroyer one, they will both be released for Home Play, albeit in a greatly reduced and streamlined version, assuming we can figure out how to make the final battle work with just one table.

A big THANK YOU to Jim Beck and Peter Barrenechea for running the BI and making the maps for the two events, respectively.

I also had the pleasure of running a Special adventure entitled Overdue, which was a Kickstarter reward for the Forged in Magic KS. I hope you six had as much fun as I did in running that adventure. Hopefully, one of the players will release a synopsis for all of you to enjoy.

And again THANK YOU! to all of you wonderful Arcaniacs that attended.

On now, on to The War of the Paragons!

A shout out to Henry & Team Origins for another great experience. Every year I curse the flight and hotel costs before the con...and every year I come home stoked and jazzed by the Arcanis experience. Special shout out to Henry, Jimmy & the 5 other crazy characters who traveled with Tukufu to the Sea of Grass. The special Kickstarter table (Overdue) was the highlight of the con for me.

A word on the forthcoming write up I'm working on.... I wrote up a long IC and shorter OOC synopsis of the last special table I played at (A Drink, A Dance A Knife). Mostly to share the secrets learned with all other interested parties. Trying to write up this adventure (Overdue) is a lot more complicated. One, if the NPC patrons' names & prologue got out IC then it seems likely to me that they would be killed by other NPCs. Two, come to think of it, divulging everything IC would also bring down the wrath of powerful enemies on the heads of Tukufu & his friends. Finally three, the information overlaps with secret information included with the special characters earned by the IKs of the old campaign, and I have essentially pledged to my fellow IKs to be sensitive in divulging anything IC or OOC. So...while I am working on something IC to put up in the spoilers thread I want to be upfront that it's going to be (by necessity) a lot more heavily edited or elliptical than past writtings.

I would like to extend my own thank you; to everyone who stepped up to run events (even if they ended up being co-opted into playing at a table).

Additionally, thank you specifically to those people who stepped up as NPCs for 'Echoes from the Depths'; I realise that I was throwing you all into the deep end; so I hope you had fun.

As Henry mentioned, part of the Friday special will be seeing home-release. I have a few edits to do on it; mostly stat-blocks, and a small amount of story material. However, expect that it will be released shortly for home play as 'LA-A3-AP1 Ripples of Fate'.

I had a lot of fun playing Korvus val'Ossan even though I did not get all of my objectives (darn Altherians! :( ). If you need me again for later LARPs just let me know. As for the deep end heck once your gave me a few details I ran with it. :)

Quote board entries? (ie: please supply any anecdotes while fresh in your memory).
