Volunteering

Volunteer rewards are:
4 slots: Free badge
8 slots: Free badge and one of: 1/4 hotel room, 2nd Free Badge, vouchers (typically $60)

To sign up, send me an email at james.zwiers+origins2016@gmail.com. In the email, please indicate the following:
- Name
- Reward Selection
- Events you are volunteering for

I will accept the emails into my assigned slots on a first-received, first-accepted basis. After I go through each batch, I'll be updating the totals below for remaining slots. Additionally, if a slot fills up, I'll do my best to help each person find a number of slots to work to get the reward they indicated they would like.

Event Volunteering
All events, aside from LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths and LA-BI Black Hearts, Red Blades are one-round events; LA-BI Black Hearts, Red Blades is a two-round event, you must volunteer for both rounds or none.

LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths is different. There are both LARP elements and BI elements to this event; I need people to indicate which part(s) they are volunteering for. Each of the two parts is equivalent to a one-round event for the purposes of volunteering.

Judges Required
Codes are as above; the number of occurrences of the time code is judge spaces remaining. Numeral codes are used for the two multi-round events to remind you how many slots equivalent the volunteer space counts as. These counts will be updated every day or two.

2 Questions:
1) Is the LA-Special the LARP/LARP-Adventure combo? (Just curious if there is a LARP aspect to Origins 2016)
2) Is there no Witch Hunter LARP?

There is no Arcanis LARP planned for Origins 2016.

Witch Hunter LARPS are run by another group, not PCI.

Henry answered regarding number 2; more information about question one will be released once things are moving closer. That event is still under planning, so I can't reveal more information about it yet.

Reminder: Volunteer signup is open. Some slots are filling up quickly; so get me your volunteering requests sooner if you have particular schedules you want.

Just a reminder to folks; we need people to step up to help run events or they don't happen.

The actual Origins rewards will be made available shortly; so the sooner you sign up the sooner I'll be able to pass along that information.

The first round of emails about how to obtain the volunteer rewards will be going out today.

If you intend to volunteer and would like to claim a share of a hotel room please step forward sooner rather than later; GAMA needs the information for the bookings soon.
