James I want to make sure I understand your system. See my comments below. Is this current?

Judges Required
Codes are as above; the number of occurrences of the time code is judge spaces remaining. Numeral codes are used for the two multi-round events to remind you how many slots equivalent the volunteer space counts as. These counts will be updated every day or two.

LA - Combined Event
LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths: LARP-1111111 Are you saying you need 7 judges here?

LA - ARG Events
LA-A2-HP11 Night of a Thousand Screams: T-ME
LA-A2-HP12 The Chosen: T-AA
LA-A3-AP0 Echoes from the Depths: BI-1111 Are you saying you need 4 judges here?
LA-BI Black Hearts, Red Blades: BI-2222 Are you saying you need 4 judges here?

Yup. The number codes just indicate the number of slots that signup is equivalent to. As all the normal modules are single round, they just use letter codes.

James,

If you are that short of judges, put me down for judging, any and all that you need a judge for - including the BI. Just let me know the schedule you need me for. I don't normally judge LARPs can we talk about your needs for a LARP judge off line?

Open judge slots have been updated. For people who want to judge, please do send me an email. I'm trying to keep all of the coordination in a single channel so I don't miss anyone, or forget to send anyone information that is required.

Be advised, if anyone is intending to volunteer and take the hotel space reward (and has not already done so), the deadline for that is Wed 27 April (as informed today).

Remaining slots are up to date as of 'now'.

Is there a logic to no events Saturday morning? Is it to allow the judge pool to recover? If so, I assume the odds of getting a table of a night of a thousand screams off then as an open table would be frowned upon? Is other open gaming allowed then?

I usually arrive Thursday night, game Friday and Sat (and maybe sun morning) and then leave Sunday. With this schedule, that leaves me with a hole on Saturday morning (which I don't mind so much), but unable to get one of the premiers (which I do). Any way to fix that?

It is entirely about letting judges get some sleep. Broken ever so slightly by running a 5E Open; but that is a one-off thing this year due to the launch of 5E.

Updated again.

Basically, I need roughly:

3 people to step up and run ARG events.
2-3 people to pick up a few 5E events.

2-3 people to pick up WH events.

Also, let me say thank you to everyone who has stepped up to run events at Origins; your sacrifice / time is greatly appreciated.

The first post in the thread has the list of what remains outstanding with respect to needing volunteers; there's a number scattered across the show.
