I might need Troubled Tides. Other no. I'm up to date. I'm not judging as much as Matt. Would be happy to run a round

Hi all,

I'll be coming over from the UK... Are there any pre conventions mods being run? I've managed to play the first parts of the Coming of the Destroyer storyline but NOT:

A2HP06 The Price of Honor
A2HP07 Words of the Seer

Is anyone running these? Tuesday/Wednesday?

btw their will be two of us from the UK... A Val and a Handbag (Ss'ressen)!

Dan

I will be there whenever Akira arrives since I'm catching a ride with him, and I'm willing to run *something*, possibly two modules if we arrive early enough. I'd prefer to run different tables if there's enough interest so everyone gets a chance to play.

Okay, as I previously mentioned, we are hoping to get into Columbus some time between 12-1pm on the Tuesday, but that is going to depend a lot on how busy the border crossing is, and how much road construction we encounter.

The list of modules that Amanda and I will be very interested in are:

HP2-05 Vexing Priests
SP2-04 Long March, Dark Coda
SP2-06 The Edge of the Knife (but I doubt it will be revised by Origins)

There are plenty of other modules we would be able to play with alts, those are just at the top of our lists. Seeing as we are getting close to con time, we should probably start organizing a little more thoroughly. I will make a tentative list of players/GMs for Tuesday, and perhaps we can start to make some firm module plans:

Tuesday, June 2nd 2015 - Mid-day slot (1pm-ish)

Potential GMs:
Eric Gorman
Michael T. Hebert
Tony Njissen?
Akira Currier?

Potential Players:
Steve Wilcoxon
Auroris
Matthew Flinn?
David Chappell
Dan (valUK) + friend
Amanda L.

Tuesday, June 2nd 2015 - Evening slot (8pm-ish)

Potential GMs:
Eric Gorman
Michael T. Hebert
Tony Njissen
Akira Currier

Potential Players:
Kenny (drafit)
Michael T. Hebert
Steve Wilcoxon
Auroris
Peter Parker
John Bellando
Matthew Flinn
David Chappell
Dan (valUK) + friend

I had to make a few guesses for the above, seeing as a number of people did not post exactly what times they were available. The people listed as potential judges have not actually committed to running anything, they have simply indicated a willingness to run a game or two.

If we can refine these lists a little we can start to make firmer plans for the who/what/when.

I could definitely run either Vexing Priests or Long March Dark Coda, as long as people take into account I'm not as expert on these rules as I am on 3.5/Pathfinder. On the other hand I've had no complaints as to my GMing either. Except when I ran In Plain Sight for a short table at CincyCon, but that was a chance to beat up my friends that I could not pass up. Besides it might be fun to give both Tony and Matt a chance to play. :) At this point I think we need to decide what would be the best mods to run and who should judge. Maybe one table of Long March Dark Coda for those who want that and a table of two other mods for the rest.

By my count I have three people who want Long March Dark Coda. Anyone else interested or willing to help fill out a table? I have the mod at home and have run it once so I'm familiar with it.

Has there been movement on organizing tables? Organizing is just about my least favorite gaming related activity. I've heard several mods as possibilities tossed around. Someone put my mod (SP 2-08) To Die Alone out there. I would happily run that. Others have mentioned Vexing Priests and the Price of Honor. Both mods that i like and would also be happy to run. .

If we can manage it, my first choice would be for Long March (just need 1-3 more players it looks like). Otherwise, I need both To Die Alone and Vexing Priests.

Hey Eric how about I prep Long March Dark Coda and Vexing Priests, you prep To Die Alone and the Price of Honor. If someone else want to they can bring and prep Words of the Seer and one other mod. That should give a range of choice to players. What does everyone think of those selections. I imagine I will run Long March Dark Coda since several people wanted that. Actually if you play smart and avoid some of the fights the mod can be run in under two hours. If the party is buff enough I will handwave at least one fight since I think they can take that encounter without anyone dropping.

Of the mods mentioned so far, I would like to play
  • Long March, Dark Coda
  • Troubled Tides
  • Pride Goeth Before a Fall
  • Knife's Edge (maybe not released yet)

I have already played (and not in a rush to replay since there are so many I haven't played):
  • A2-HP1 Into the Blessed Lands
  • A2-HP4 Visions of Lives Past
  • A2-HP5 Vexing Priests
  • The Price of Honor
  • Words of the Seer
  • Thousand Words
  • To Die Alone
  • A2-SP9 In Plain Sight

I could GM a round but feel comfortable running only Crusade mods since I've been prepping them for a group here in Boston.

Thank you, GMs!
