The Crossing can run rather short (Frankly all the mods can without significant roleplay) My biggest issue is to keep the ghost an active issue for the players. Players also tend to get turned onto the secret of the ship pretty easily. Do what you can to keep them from ending things early.

It wasn't in the original but I learned later that the ritual to end the mod is meant to be done on the open see and not work while docked (I think I noted this in the posted version). Make sure the PCs either take time to figure things out or learn through the book that it can't be done on dock.

People trying to get blood from the young pilgrim is always hilarious.
