Ok, I know we changed the A Band of Awakening (Quickening Mind), into a lesser form of Ring of Mind shielding but I lost my notes from Origins, What is the effect of the ring please anyone?

+1 to arcanum meditation when attempting to cast a spell. And 1/day shake off a control spell as a push 4 action.

Also are these items 1 / table? They aren't marked that way on the Cert.

I cannot say FOR SURE in the adventure, but my read of it is that these are Artifacts, not 'items'. Artifacts are 1/table, 'items' (like Stummtod in "Whispers of the Gods") was 1/Hero.

I personally prefer the 1/table interpretation, because it makes possessing items 1) more rare, and 2) allows more individuality in characters. However, I know that many tables include those people who get right pissed off if they can't get a share of treasure, and will either DEMAND 1/hero, or insist that everything gets sold and everyone splits the loot. While I think this makes the adventure less fun (to me), I can see the point of this later interpretation.

To summerize: I say 1/table, but I am nobody official.

Hello John,

I say 1/table, but I am somebody official.

As the author, that was my intent. You should also be aware, if not already, that not all the items are "found". It depends on how big a table was seated.

The reason I asked was my cert doesn't have any of them scratched off, nor do I believe we discussed it at the time. I'll have to check with Mr. Vacca.

Assuming this was a Slot Zero then the error only appears in a small number of players. I assume no more than 6.

Please make sure when you run this weekend that this error doesn't repeat itself.

Thanks!

It was at Origins, not sure that was considered slot zero. I'm cool with not having any of the items if it's a big deal. I'm actually not running the adventure this weekend.

<=== Archaeologist, it's practically a job description.
