Man that sounds like a cool mod. Is the soft point "To Die Alone" (which I understand is also set in Almeric) tied in any way to the event in this mod?

After rereading the thread I have 2 questions:

1) Why hasn't Roderick taken steps to declare himself previously? Almeric has been hemorrhaging the blood of its citizens for more than a dozen years.

2) Which sword is in play? Precision? Or the Lion of Winter? The head of the val'Tensen family has traditionally wielded the Lion of Winter according to the old Codex, but most of the last campaigns mods focused on the sword Precision.

My character Ursula val'Holryn would love to know the answer to question 1. She spent her early years (i.e. Background--Former Soldier) in Almeric fighting to unify the country. She would be less than pleased if Roderick could have stepped in to end the bloodshed. Given her bloodline (and it's not val Tensen) she is not the most patient of people. :) Nor the most politic. Unless he had REALLY GOOD reasons for not doing so she would have been all kinds of in his face about this. She spent too much time there shedding blood (both hers and others) to act otherwise.

#1: I can't answer why he hasn't come forth in the last 20 years or so, but he is very old now and is worried that one of the other powerful Lords claiming ties to the Throne would kill him since he has no army to defend him.

#2: I think it's the Lion of Winter, but someone else can confirm.

Okay I either forgot or never heard he had joined the monks. I can accept that line of reasoning. Sounds like Ursula needs to go back to Almeric and use that hammer of hers to know some common sense into these '"lordlings." :) To steal a line...."Hammer Time!"
