Ah, true that about "attackers."

The specifics of the text make interpretation a bit tough. Conflicts emerge quickly.

For instance:
1. "Mob" is defined as a group of 4-6 common threats. Interesting question: How do 3 common threats attack? Mandatory that they attack separately?
2. Mobs possess 1 stamina and 1 wound. Conflict - the total group of 4-6 has 1 stamina and 1 wound collectively?
3. When a mob attacks, add +2 to hit and to damage for each attacker beyond the first.
4. When a mob attacks, attackers need not be of the same mob. Conflict - doesn't the mob (group form) have to be defined before it's attack roll can be made? If so, how can attackers be "of different mobs?"

Of course, each EIC gets to make his/her own interpretations. In some of these cases, the EIC has no alternative as the written text doesn't give unambiguous guidance.
