Having some issues working this out, as its a bit vague. Quote: ...they are treated as a single power for the purposes of advancement but are both at -1 Rank. This modified stacks with the Linked Power flaw. When adding perks and flaws during character generation, how does this function? I purchase 5 Ranks in Energy Generation, and build the following: Energy Generation* (Light), Power Armour +3, Synergy -1, Linked +1, Fatiguing +2; (10) Element/Energy Blast* (Light): Laser Cannon, Accurate -2, Secondary Effect: Crippled -1 ; (7#) # Do I use the final Rank 10 from Energy Generation and apply the Perks to Energy Blast from this final Rank (making Rank 7)? Or is it calculated another way? Do all the flaws/perks from Energy Generation apply to Energy Blast? Also, how does that 'stacking' note work? Linked + Synergy = net -1? Or does Linked +1 negate the Synergy -1? Advancement is strait forward (everything is based on Rank 10 for both Powers) |

I eventually worked this one out due to re-reading the wording. Step 1. Build hero as normal. Step 2. After creation is complete, apply the Synergy 'perk' to all the Powers affected. |
