Quick question on the skills Foci: the Prostitute background has Charm (Gossip, Deceive, and Persuade) 1 as background skills. Since Charm encompasses, by default, all three foci (Gossip, Deceive, Persuade), it seems unnecessary to precise them. Right? EDIT: Okay, so apparently, a similar question was asked about the Courtier background (same thing with the Charm skill as the Prostitute). The answer was: CBlome wrote: Courtier gives you Charm at 1 with all three Specializations This seems very powerful! Could Eric or Henry confirm this is how it should be interpreted? Thanks! |

That is correct. Bear in mind that the Prostitute Backgound only gives you ranks in 4 skills, but you are very good at Charm. |

Thanks Eric! And then, when a Prostitute increase their Charm skill, the 3 specializations benefit from it immediately? I mean, when they increase Charm by 1 point, the 3 Foci (which are all 3 specializations) increase by 1 point at the same time? |

They are specializations within the skill. The benefit is that they succeed on 6+ instead of 7+ when that skill is used in that fashion. |

Found this today. May have already been posted in the previous 6 pages, but... Wagering (p. 61): These abilities have a cost known as a Wager which is a penalty to the dice roll required for the additional effect. As the name implies, Wagers are a risk, as decreasing your dice pool naturally decreases your chance at any level of success. Wagering (p. 182): These abilities have a cost known as a Wager which is merely the number of additional successes the character must achieve in order to succeed with the Action Roll. As the name implies, Wagers are a risk, as reducing your Dice Pool naturally decreases your chance at any level of success. The indicated text is inconsistent. Also... Gossip (p. 109, under Charm): Each Charm roll done in this fashion may involve the expense of a few coins to buy drinks, meals, and so on (the character suffers a -1d penalty to resource rolls for the remainder of the adventure). This indicated text appears to be the only reference to a Resource Roll in the whole book. Tom |

Resource as a skill was a feature of an alpha version of 2nd ed, that appears to be an artifact from that. I will add it to my list. |

Creature Size (pg 186): Such creatures typically have increased Might and Vigor Abilities... All references to Might and Vigor should be replace with Strength and Toughness (easy guess). On a related note, where should one note creature size in the statblock? |

Talents: Armor Piercing Shot (pg 124) Requirement: Marksman (should be Master Marksman?) Two Arrow Shot (Greater) (pg 132) Listed on the Talent tables as a heroic talent, which would make it comparable to Stab & Shoot (pg 131) |
