Last week, Jason Marker, the designer behind The Thin Blue Line: A Detroit Police Story posted an encounter/scenario based on creepy salt mummies haunting the abandoned salt mines below Detroit.

Well, that was just too cool an idea to let four centuries stand in my way. But what I found with just a few Google searches completely blew me away.

Thanks Henry. I really wish I had more time to develop it. I may add some additional images (I found a tourist map of the mines) to beef it up a bit. But I was just surprised a place of that scope actually existed.

I am psyched, as I am heading to Krakow, Poland the first week of September and will hopefully get a tour of the mines firsthand!

Thanks for the write-up, Tom!!
