Found this while doing a bit of research my game. While nothing is explicit it the article, there is DEFINITELY an adventure to be found herein. Perhaps Rudolf II was a Lightbringer, or better, a magus. Any one of these stolen paintings could have Da Vinci Code level implications in the world of Witch Hunter, prized and sought after by the orders of Solomon and the Adversary alike. Or maybe it's just a cursed or haunted painting. This could have passed to any number of nobles, especially after Christina's exile. Or stolen again by another party. Is it something to be destroyed, coveted and protected by all means, or revealed to an unprepared public?

I'm counting on my players paying a visit to Frankfurt, city of banks, in the near future. This might be a perfect scenario for a distraction!

Anyhow, I thought I would share.

Tom
