Hello everyone,

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the final stretch goal of the Kickstarter, the Witch Hunter Rites and Relics PDF has been sent out to all the backers who pledged at the appropriate level. If you have not received it, please check your SPAM folder for an email from HighTail. If you still don't see it, please contact me at PCIHenry@gmail.com

So for your initial pledge, you received the following products in addition to whatever special rewards and add-ons you may have purchased:

1. Witch Hunter 2nd Edition Core book

2. GM Screen

3. The Legion Cycle which includes four adventures (A Child's Game, Gates of Flame, Tides of Darkness, and On Silver Wings) combined into one large campaign.

4. The Cities of Mystery Sourcebook

5. Four Witch Hunter Through the Ages write-ups by Shane Hensley, Matt Forbeck, Jim Pinto and A. Scott Glancy.

And lastly

6. The Rites and Relics sourcebook

I hope you have found your Kickstarter experience pleasurable and should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at PCIHenry@gmail.com

I hope you will also consider joining us for the companion Witch Hunter Kickstarter, where you will be pledging to publish the Grand Tome of Adversaries as a 256 page hardback with a similar faux leather cover.

Thank you again!

For those of us who weren't involved in the Kickstarter but who would like to get this in hard copy, will this be available at Origins? If not when will we be able to purchase this product in printed form? Thanks!

P.S. After getting hooked on the Salem TV series I am now jonesing to play Witch Hunter again.

Sweet! On the list, though I'll have to wait til it hits the mainstream market. But now that its out, I can start putting questions out about it.

Stuff I want to know:
How much material is new vs converted from the 1st edition core (grimoires, relics) and Blessed and the Damned (rites, grimoires, relics)?
Page count?
Are all the new Traditions from B&D covered?
What about Thaumaturgy (Orders of Solomon: Lightbringers)
Does it expand on magi, the undertaking, relations with the church and nobility?
New orders? New forbidden societies?
Any talents throwing up red flags? (I know 1st ed had a few of these by the end.)
What's the coolest new rite for PCs?
What's the coolest new rite for villains?

Yeah, that should do it.

I'm especially interested in the Prayer section, as the only spellcaster in our group has that Tradition. I expect it's going to get some play.

Tom

I'm afraid I can only answer a couple of these questions, as I wasn't around for the first edition of Witch Hunter.

    * The book is 81 pages, not including covers or indices.
    * I didn't see anything in there about thaumaturgy, though alchemy is included.
    * The section on the Rose and Cross talks about about the history of mages, but it's focused around that order.
    * The only talent which I think appears very strong is Piety, but it's a Heroic talent that requires a creation-only basic talent as a prerequisite. I think most Heroic talents aren't strong enough to support their cost; this is the right power level for my tastes.
    * I know that there are at least three new Prayer rites, but my favorite "new for second edition" rite may have been converted from first edition: Guardian Angel. It is heroic and requires True Faith 6, but it's evocative and powerful enough that I'd love to have my character learn it one day.

Yes, but it'll be some months until that's done.

It is available as part of a PDF bundle in the 2nd Edition Grand Tome of Adversaries bundle and we'd love your support!

Did the Necromancer/Liche make it into R&R?

I'm looking forward to the release of R&R. I am curious though, for those who may have missed the KS (sadly I didn't even hear about it till the new edition was out!!) is there any chance the GM screen and the Era's update will be made available? Even as a pdf from drivethru?
