Hello Tom,

Thank you for that catch. We'll correct it in for the final PDF (and the printed book).

For your edification, the correct answer to your Initiative question is Reflexes.

A question on costing. On Page that Skill Specializations cost 30 Survivor Points and references the Skill Foci section on Page 107. However, on Page 107, it states that Skill Specializations cost 25 Survivor Points.

Which cost is correct?

Under Circles of Sorcery, Prayer, p 171-174
– The True Faith category needs to be bold in every single entry.

Also, posted these to the previous forums. After checking, none of the grammatical or spelling errors appear to have been fixed and many of the mechanical issues (?) remain. So I'm posting them again.

Weapon Tricks, p 149–150
– Catch Weapon: Range (3 areas? Really? Shouldn’t it be Melee.)

– Crushing Blow: Opponent is singular, use he or she, not they.

– Hamstring: Since this effects locomotion, why wouldn’t this effect non-living creatures as well? Zombies gotta shuffle too. But you shouldn’t be able to hamstring a ghost, so maybe “corporeal targets”?

– Hawkeye: By maximum range, do you mean “extreme” range? Or does this trick allow you to ignore all range penalties?

– Ranged Disarm: Opponent is singular; use him or her, not them.

–
Slap & Cut/Sweep and Bash: Make use of “&” or “and” consistent.

– Set for Charge: Opponent is singular; use his or hers, not their; preform = perform. Capitalize Quick Action?

– Steady Shot: This appears to be the only time a penalty for unsteady platforms is referenced. What is the penalty? This should be referenced under Mounted Combat (p 181). Shouldn’t the Range be 1 Area at least?

– Twin Arrows: Is this associated with the Two Arrow Shot Talent? If so, the names should be consistent.

– Vicious Riposte: “any time” should be “if” or “when”, since you may only use this trick once per round. You might move that detail to the fore of the description.

– Ricochet Shot: Moderate and Heavy cover should read “Standard” and “Superior”. “Light” cover should be “Partial”. Is the negates successes correct? On top of the –1d/–2d penalties? The Talent makes no mention of negations, but that could be from mastery?

Also, the various swords list "Mighty Swing" as their tricks, but the title of the trick is listed as "Mighty Strike".

Weapon Traits, p 152
– Double: Needs a period at the end of the sentence.
– Heavy: add space between Strength and score, and Strength and under.
– Special: Needs a period at the end of the sentence.

Equipment, p 151
– Candle: add space between lit and candle.

Knowing Where to Step Through, p 56
4th paragraph, 2nd sentence beginning: "The answer is..."
– ; and , at the end of Order. As in: "...by oral tradition with my Order;, though I did..." Remove one.

Ok, I'm slapping myself for not realizing and reporting this sooner.

Under Skill Foci, p 107, it says: "Skill Specializations...may not be purchased for Fighting or Sorcerous Tradition skills."

So then why do each of the Sorcerous Traditions on the skill list (p 106) have foci listed? That suggests you CAN focus in the sorcerous skill. So I would think one of these two sections needs to be amended.

Also, on the Skill List (p 106), Speak Language should read "Speak Language (Rea)", since it's based on Reason (p 117).

No, they are still Foci, one just cannot specialize in them. That permits the use of items or future rules elements that give bonuses to an individual focus instead of an entire skill.

Prices, p 244
– The Prices tables on this page are actual copies of the Powers tables.

Starting Kits, p 147-148
– The folk healer Background (p 69) gives the character a Healer's Kit. This kit is missing from the collection in Starting Kits.
– The Hunter's Kit is missing too.
