The way things have been going, I'm half-expecting a Hard Point adventure with a teaser along the lines of . . .
The Sleeping Emperor awakens in his palace. He whispers six names. Six foreign names. "They shall stand before me." He then returns to his deep slumber as his scribes diligently rush to pass word along. Soon thereafter in the First City, a Khitani delegation respectfully approaches the 6 PCs. "He spoke your name. When you are ready, we have an honor guard prepared to escort you to Huangdu, what you call Khitan City, and the Palace of the Emperor."
Somewhere along the way in the Khitani Empire, the adventurers get sidetracked helping people. By amazing fortune, they happened to be exactly in the right place at the right time to help out.
At the end of the adventure, the PC heroes are back in eastern civilization. They never made it to the Khitani capital city, much less the Sleeping Emperor's Palace. Either the Dreams of Larissa was wrong, or they will not appear before him until another, later adventure. . . .
