Malekith finds the gnome waiting for him at the safe house. "Well that could have gone better," he says to the gnome in a mocking tone. "Next time you get to play the bait," snaps the gnome. "Still he may be on to something. Even a blind pig can find a truffle my instructor used to say. Mark him down in the book for further surveillance. If need be take him in for interrogation. But that must be done quietly so as to arouse no suspicion." He turns to leave, "Right now I need a meal and some sleep. Good night Mal." |
