Armand De Beaumarche', famed lover, duelist, adventurer and land pirate, seeks a creative and stylish tailor to solve a most vexing clothing conundrum.
It takes far to long to get my pants off, especially over my boots. I find that I often need to remove my pants at a moment's notice, and standard pants just aren't working. I will pay well for your time, and would relinquish all claims and rights to the speed pants concept. Perhaps a system of oiled leather laces in metal eyelets up the sides?

Thank you,

How quickly do you need to be able to get them back on?

While I personally am unable to perform such. . . creative tailoring, I do recall there is an Elorii by the name of Garish Friend who specializes in such things, so long as they are of the most offensively bright colours.

So are you saying you're personally offended and this is your 'nudge' to curb the conversation? Are you just putting that out there in order to be the board police (since it was your topic you pointed to)? Without context it just seems brusque. Personally the post was not in poor taste, as there were no graphic details about anything, so an explanation is probably warranted.

I think Sammy is worried that other players will be offended by my use of speed pants. I need them to expose my sparkly codpiece with the symbol of Larrissa on it. I keep the codpiece covered for stealth operations.
As to getting the pants back on, that can happen at a more leisurely pace, or not at all. (As seen in the Battle of Enpebyn.)
Anyone have a way to put me in touch with This Garish fellow? I am certainly not opposed to colorful garb.

Don't forget to make both the pants and the codpiece Exceptional so you can put Runes on them. Might as well get some in game benefit from "characterful" items. Just sayin...

Having been with Armand at the Battle of Enpebyn (and helped mightly by his "attack attraction" abilites--i.e. the bad guys hit him instead of me) I have no problem with his "speed pants." In fact Haakon might be willing to donate funds to help a fellow hero out. Also I'd be more than happy to have Armand at my table next year. One can only imagine what will ensue... :)

Sir,

If it comes to craftsmanship, when in doubt one should seek out the dwarves. I believe Tultipet is unlikely to be of much help to you at present. Perhaps the Solani? Or the Encali?

On the other hand Tultipet is in need of hands/strong backs as well as funds to help rebuild. Assuming a craftsman survived they might well be willing to help for either cash or work in kind. Might be worth investigating.

Sir, I appreciate your vexation. Tell me have you considered the usefulness of a kilt? It is well accepted in polite company. If things become impolite, it is an easy conversion.
