I am indeed in MST (though no longer 'change' timezones since moving from Saskatchewan). acurrier is in Manitoba so he's in CST. He doesn't really play online to my knowledge, but there is also val'Holryn who is on the West Coast (PST).

As to the adventures, I suggest posting a "A1HP1 Desperate Measures, anyone interested for the end of October" type of post here. In theory I can GM such adventures though there is always the timing thing (the further in the future it is planned, the more time I have to make it work). I also know that maurlysander here was looking at playing a bunch of early mods, though he is in EST. That said, if we place the adventures on a weekend or Friday night, 'end time' is a bit less important.

Both he and his wife have joined us from time to time, just depends on their schedule.

With a sweep of his hat,

Paul

the "he doesn't really play" was for val'Holryn (Mr. Gorman) and not for the Curriers.

I'm in Phoenix, AZ, on the Northeastern side. Our local time is currently PST, though we will be CST soon, given we don't have Daylight Savings time. I think 7:30 EST for me currently is 5:30 PM, which won't always be simple to be get to, as that's right after work. 6 PM is a bit better.

I think there's something wrong with your timezones. AZ should be either MT/PT or CT/MT (not CT/PT). CDT is 1 hour earlier EDT, MDT is 2 hours earlier, and PDT is 3 hours earlier. If AZ is MST (guessing) then they would be equivalent to PDT (3 hours behind).

That's what it seemed to be when I looked things up. It's 1:24 PM here at the moment.

And thanks Nierite, I'll throw up a thread for that in a moment.

It looks like you are PST right now, which means that if you don't have Daylight Savings it would be a PST/MST switch.

I know that there are a couple players in Sierra Vista, I don't know if that's close to you.

If look up "whisper" on these boards you can get into contact with chris, if you have any issues with that send me a PM and I'll try to connect you guys.

That's about 2 and a half hours away from central Phoenix unfortunately.

well you guys should start weekend games that swaps between the two locations, its totally worth the drive to play arcanis.

or start making things happen at local conventions

I am also about 3 hours away from the closest 'real' group (I'm in Edmonton, they're in Calgary). While entirely possible to do travel games, I can agree it isn't tenable for doing it regularly. However, you should still seek them out because live games are ALWAYS better when the choice is available from my personal experience.

Until then, however, there is this board :D
