Tony,

One other thought: Could you add a note about the "avoiding certain death" to the campaign documentation and perhaps provide a reference to it as a single sentence / URL in each mod? It would be good for all players and GMs to be on the same page on what to expect.

Nice simple rules updates. I applaud and support them.

Some people, just confuse me. They have to find a way to complain about -anything- and -everything-
I think if some of you people won the lottery you'd find a way to bitch about not getting enough free $.

Honestly, it pretty gotten pretty old.

One point of clarification:

T-shirts and BI certs, etc. How will those interact? Will they allow you to go above and beyond the 'fate spent' limit? For instance if I have the cert shirt for "Spend a fate that doesn't count against your maximum", does that allow the player to tap the shirt and get to spend a 'free fate' and go +1 above the limit of their Fate Score that adventure?

Paul - I certainly can. I'll add it to the campaign documentation and a reference in modules going forward for Chronicler's to be familiar with the Campaign Documentation when running modules for the Legends of Arcanis Campaign with a URL link to the documentation.

Rick - Agreed. We as a whole group are better than that, I believe. Constructive criticism is useful and appreciated. Simply complaining is not. We're never going to satisfy everyone, but we will do the best we can without compromising the core of what we do: Telling good stories, and making good art.

John - T-shirts/BI certs that give a virtual fate point function identically to the val'Sheem bloodline power (except they are per module instead of per day). You get an additional Fate point to spend once per module, effectively increasing your available Fate by one per module.
So, a val'Sheem with the right bloodline power, whose player has a T-Shirt, starting with a Fate Score of 3 (for their lowest stat) would have 5 Fate points to spend per module. If they were also Cursed/Damned, they'd only have 4. Make sense? I'll add a notation to this in the original post.

Yes, it's still in the most current campaign guide. Should fit nicely with the new rules too.

In all fairness to those who may have asked, it does say *this* in the Campaign Guide:

However, this character can never go back and play modules from the Crusade story arc. Some exceptions maybe made for stand-alone, non-Crusade related soft points, but this does mean the majority of the current modules cannot be played with the new character.


If there will be no exceptions, you might want to have this removed.

T-shirts and Patches are all part of the reward heap correct?
